The most famous god among the yoruba specifically oyo named SANGO who has the attribute of producing fire thru the mouth and known for his ability to dance the bata dance came down at lagos state University.
Indeed Sango Came as the 200level student of Department of theatre arts, Lasu enacted the play titled OBA KOSO( SANGO DID NOT HANG).
The play which revealed the setting of an old oyo empire, and the life of Sango, how he became the Aalafin and how his bondmen Timi and Gbonkaa rebelled against him.
The real effect was managed on stage when sango(abel) hanged himself on ayan tree, the audience stood up and round of applause went for 30mins.
The stage play OBA KOSO which was directed by Olarotimi Fakunle Michael and Stage managed by Nelson Damilola joseph and Egbure Deingha.

Timi- Chinonso Ezenwata
Gbonkaa- Olumegbon Damilola.

Oyomesi- Ogunleye Joshua, Onojeide Prince, Akintimehin Tayo.
Witches- Oyedokun Bukola, Gbosu Milicent, Nwåchukwu Uche.
Dancers- Agbabiaka bukola, Uche, bukola oyedokun, milicent.
Set designed by Abel degbeyin, oriyomi joseph, Nelson Damilola, Saheed Azeez, Borokini Ajoke.
