After staging PO, Private Lies and LAST MOLUE, i am inviting you to watch ME live on stage again with OWEN GEE doing what i know how to do best Drama and this year it is APRIL FOOL a two man cast written by Obi Martins.
The uniqueness of this show is that it is not the usual music and comedy show, it has drama as the major focus.
APRIL FOOL is a satire that deals with the socio-political and socio-economy status of Nigeria. This play is written in view of the happenings in the country in recent times i.e, the good, the bad and the ugly. All these experiences are presented in a more humorous pattern and educates Nigerians without been offensive to anyone, group of people or government of the day. As Mary Hirsch says, "Humor is a rubber sword – it allows you to make a point without drawing blood", that is our style.
