In line with our mission of raising the next generation of superstars in
the Nigerian Music Industry , by providing a platform where fresh
talents can get heard and showcase what they have, we present to you,
our Latest Project!
THE #DEARARTISTE BATTLE OF THE EMCEES.
This is a freestyle competition for upcoming rappers.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE:
- A 3 minute instrumental produced by Tha Suspect of Capital Hill Music, will be downloaded from www.dearartiste.com and interested rappers will freestyle on it
- Entries will be emailed to dearartistebattle@gmail.com and the top 10 entries will be selected by a jury.
- The TOP 10 entries will be placed on the #Dearartiste website where people can go and listen and vote for them. Winner will be selected by number of votes.

1ST PRIZE
- A #Dearartiste Branded Tshirt,
- Free CD jacket Design,
- Online promotion cutting across top 10 music blogs,
- Free Music Production session by fast rising producer- BabyFresh!

All artistes on the TOP 10 get their song on the dearartiste playlist, and a chance to perform at the BATTLE OF THE EMCEES after party at SCINTILLA EVENTS CENTER on the 25th of May, 2012.
The competition starts April 22 - May 12. A total period of 3 weeks to download the instrumental, record your freestyle and email your entries. Top I0 entries will be posted on the site on the 13th may. Voting starts immediately and closes on the 20th.
WINNERS WILL BE SELECTED BY NUMBER OF VOTES ONLY!!!! LET THE BATTLE BEGIN!
