The third leg of the 2012 edition of Amstel Malta Showtime promises a lot of fun as it is luring popular acts such as 9ice and Tiwa Savage to the stage.
Its organisers say the event holding today at Jogor Centre, will also see students from tertiary institutions in and around the state slugging it out in music, dancing and comedy competitions. More when you click...
They add, “Winners in each category will get the sum of N500, 000 cash, a new iPad and a luxurious all-expense paid weekend getaway for two in Lagos. Runners up will not go empty handed as the first and second runners-up will get N150,000 and N100,000 respectively. The winners will also get the rare opportunity to perform LIVE on stage with the stars in their respective categories.
“ There will also be rib cracking jokes at the event as hilarious comedian, Seyi Law, will dish out jokes while scintillating dance group, Outrage, will set the dance hall on fire with breathtaking choreography. As unusual, versatile entertainer, Darey ‘Art’ Alade, will be the anchor of the event.”
The show had earlier held in Benin and Port Harcourt.
