THE Forbes Africa Person of the Year has announced the top five candidates for this year’s title.
The winner of the award would have had an influence on the events of the year on the African continent.
The nominees are Aliko Dangote, Dr James Mwangi, Joyce Banda, Tony Elumelu and Stephen Saad.
Dangote, founder and president of Dangote Group and a Nigerian was last year’s runner-up to Forbes Africa Person of The Year and is Africa’s richest man, worth more $11.2 billion.
