EX-INTERNATIONAL, Peter Rufai was on Tuesday night discharged from hospital where he was rushed to after slumping in his office on Monday.
The former Dragon FC of Benin Republic shot-stopper, Tribunesport gathered is now recuperating at home, even though he was unable to speak to anybody as at the time efforts were made to reach him.

When Tribunesport called his mobile line, a lady by the name, Rita, who identified herself as the ex Super Eagles goalie's cousin, confirmed that he had been discharged and was already recovering at home, saying that he was still a bit tired to talk to people.
“Yes, he was discharged from the hospital yesterday (Tuesday) night and he is presently recovering, but cannot talk to anybody now,” said Rita.
“Doctors have advised him not to entertain visitors and to desist from receiving telephone calls, so that he could rest enough to regain his strength.
Another source, however, told Tribunesport that Rufai barely managed to speak on returning home from the hospital, stating that Rufai only said he could not really explain what happened to him but only noticed that he was feeling dizzy as of the time he slumped in the office.
“At the hospital, he said doctors could not diagnose any form of sickness but attributed his predicament to stress.”
“For now he is at home hoping to recover fully so as to concentrate on his football academy which is his priority for now.
Rufai is due in Ibadan soon for a football clinic, where  he is expected to tutor kids on the round leather game.
Meanwhile, the Nigeria Football Federation, (NFF), yesterday wished Rufai quick recovery.
“We wish to, on behalf of the entire Nigeria football family, wish Peter a very quick recovery so that he can get back on his feet and return to a normal life,” said the Secretary General,  Barrister Musa Amadu.
Amadu added: “We are very concerned about Peter’s situation. He did so much for our dear country as a player and remains one of the true legends of the Nigeria game. He is also the Coordinator of our U-23 National Team.
“The NFF was in touch with Peter to console him on the death of his mother when this incident happened.”
