Nicki Minaj Offered $200,000 (31Million Naira) to Perform at Calabar Festival in Nigeria

The internet is buzzing with the news story that Nicki Minaj has (allegedly) been offered $200,000 (31 Million Naira) to perform at the 2012 Calabar Festival in Nigeria. I wonder whether she will take the offer given the video that just emerged out of Nigeria on the four (4) Port Harcourt students who were brutally murdered in Aluu. Americans get very uncomfortable with stories like that, both from a safety standpoint and how it reflects on their personal brand image. Port Harcourt and Calabar Cross River are neighboring states, albeit very different.
