James Avery, the actor who played Uncle Phil in popular 90s sitcom Fresh Prince of Bel Air has died. He passed away yesterday December 31st in an LA hospital days after undergoing open heart surgery. He died from complications from the operation. He was 68 years old. May his soul rest in peace, Amen.
