Several Nigerian stars have been nominated for the ‘Best African Act category’ for the 2014 MOBO Awards.
Davido, Dr Sid, Tiwa Savage, Wizkid, Yemi Alade, were the Nigerians nominated in the category which also includes Afrikan Boy, DJ Clock, Fuse ODG, Mafikozolo, and Mista Silva.
At the 2013 edition of the awards, British musician of Ghanaian descent, Fuse ODG won the ‘Best African Act’ gong.
Nigerian star, Davido, who has had an impressive outing in the awards season, would be hoping to win the MOBO plaque.
The awards ceremony will be held in London at the SSE Arena, Wembley on 22 October.
