The 11-month-old, 180-pound pup, aptly named “Hong Dong,” meaning “Big
Splash” in Chinese, (pictured above) has become the most expensive dog
on the planet after a wealthy coal industrialist from China recently
procured him for a little more than $1.5 million. Big Splash beats out
fellow Tibetan Mastiff, Yangtze River Number Two, who sold for nearly
$609,000 in 2009.
This same amount can put smile in the faces of less privileged in 3rd world countries
