The mandatory fasting in Islam, the Ramadan fasting has commenced today June 28th 2014 after the moon was sighted in Sokoto & Kebbi.
Professor Junaid Sokoto, spokesman of the Sultan of Sokoto and Chairman of the Moon Sighting Committee, made this announcement.
