As part of events marking the celebration of the second anniversary of Nigerian Entertainment Today newspapers, Industry Nite, the weekly platform for showcasing talent, networking and engagement, will host select guests to a pre-release listening session of 2face Idibia‘s upcoming album.
Carefully selected guests from different industries will have the opportunity to be among the first set of people in the world to listen to 2face’s new material, which isn’t due for release until April 30.
The event, which will be hosted by Tee-A, will hold at Oriental Hotel in Lekki, Lagos, on Wednesday April 25; with feature performances from some of today’s most promising music stars such as Praiz, Dammy Krane, Iyanya, Mo’eazy, Brymo, Skales and Da LOS.
We’re beyond excited. We’re only just two and it looks like we’ve been here forever‘, says publisher Ayeni Adekunle. ‘The celebration isn’t really for us, it’s for the entire media and entertainment industry. A celebration of our readers, friends, advertisers and partners‘.
NET, which clocks two on April 26, 2012, was founded by media entrepreneur Ayeni Adekunle. Before establishing NET, Ayeni had been a journalist with Encomium, THISDAY and The PUNCH.
Available as a weekly print newspaper, the company also runs the popular website www.thenetng.com, as well as a thriving mobile service.
As our name suggests, Industry Nite is a platform for the entire industry, and we’re proud to be part of the second anniversary of this great newspaper‘, Industry Nite founder Matthew Ohio says.
The event is supported by Now Muzik, The Beat 99.9FM, Trace Urban, Sodium Brand Solutions, Spinlet and BlackHouse Media
